Eco-Fest: Be Kind to Your World

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  

Join Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center on Saturday, April 21, 2012 for Eco-Fest. Eco-Fest is an educational family event designed to combine learning and fun for children of all ages. It begins a week of activities, programs and informational talks regarding the environment and earth-friendly practices and wraps up with a Butterfly Release on Earth Day, April 22 at 2:00 p.m.
 
For children, the day will be filled with activities. The Fun Zone will include a scavenger hunt, nature art, face painting, crafts, paper making, seed bomb making and more. Fun Zone activities are scheduled throughout the day from 9:00 to 4:00.

Adults (and children of all ages) can browse information booths set-up by “green” organizations and companies. These booths will teach us how to "be kind to our world"
by  providing information on earth-friendly products, services and opportunities.
