Composting 101

April 22, 2010

Compost recycles waste and puts valuable nutrients back in the soil. Whether you’re gardening in a pot or in a garden, you can use compost for your plants. Learn why compost is great for your plants, and leave with plans to build your own! A jug of compost tea will be raffled-off to class participants. Volunteer, Sandra Hoke and Environmental Education Intern, Allison Palser, will lead this program.

Reservations required.  call 409.670.9799.  Maximum 20 participants.  This program will begin in the Nature Discovery Lab.
