Community Trash Off

February 6, 2010

For 15 years, residents of Orange County gather on the first Saturday in February to do make the community a cleaner place. Volunteers have picked up more than 100,000 pounds of trash from streets, ditches, and along Adams Bayou since the inception of this program. Many families, businesses, schools, and community organizations take this opportunity to keep the bayou and the streets of Orange clean for the future.

The Annual Community Trash-Off will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. If you or your family, friends, or business would be interested in signing up a team, please complete a participation form and email it to jcarlisle@shangrilagardens.org or fax it to (409) 670- 9341.

All groups must have a minimum ratio of 1 adult:4 children (age 18 and younger).
