Autumn Fair
November 13, 2010
November 13, 2010, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Celebrate our Scarecrow Festival with a grand fair! Come cheer for your favorite scarecrow as we award prizes to our winning scarecrows. This year’s event schedule includes pumpkin decorating, corn husk doll craft, and a vegetable print craft instructed by the Stark Museum of Art! We also have many games, such as pumpkin bowling and pumpkin head toss. Try and find hidden items on the scarecrows with our scarecrow scavenger hunt! Then polish your guessing skills and tell how many seeds are held in a jar – the closest guess wins a prize! Try to navigate through our fall labyrinth to play the corn husk toss game. Dress the part and have your face painted with some pumpkins or choose from our many options!
If games and crafts aren’t enough for you, then join us for one of our presentations! There’s bats with Mel, Maxine our barred owl will be making an appearance, and storytelling on the great lawn. We will also be having boat tours to our outposts!
There is something to entertain children of all ages! So bring the entire family out for an autumn time celebration!
