Wild Birds

Summer Camp
Grades 3,4

Come explore the wonders of our feathered friends.  We will travel to different ecosystems to discover the birds that live in each.  We'll take a good look at raptors, and get a close-up look at song birds, egrets, and a barred owl.  Throughout the week we will use the power of observation to keep a detailed nature journal.  Then we will compare our journals to nature journals on display at the Stark Museum of Art.  We will end the week with Bird Olympics to see which camper makes the best bird.  This camp will include a field trip to the Stark Museum of Art.

Application and pre-registration is required; space is limited to insure a low student-to-teacher ratio.
