Stepping Back in Time

Have you ever wondered who lived here before us?  Join us for a week of discovering who left their mark on southeast Texas over the past 300 years, and what they did while they were here.  Activities will include uncovering artifacts at a re-created archaeological dig, creating Native American-inspired artwork, comparing the lifestyles of European immigrants, role-playing various groups through our area's history, and exploring the wilderness as our predecessors may have done.  This week will include a field trip to the Stark Museum of Art, as well as a tour through the W.H. Stark House. 

Application and pre-registration is required; space is limited to insure a low student-to-teacher ratio.
