Scarecrow Festival

Come and walk with the scarecrows!  Each year, Shangri La hosts this event from mid-October through mid-November.  Local area organizations, businesses, churches, schools, and individuals are invited to create their own scarecrow and place it on display at Shangri La.  As you stroll through the botanical gardens, you will be asked to vote for your favorite scarecrow. 

This year you can walk with the scarecrows from October 20 - November 14, 2009.
