Eco-Fest
Eco-Fest is an educational family event designed to combine learning and fun. During the festival, there will be booths set up for organizations and companies to disseminate information about earth-friendly products, services, and opportunities. There will also be boat rides on Adams Bayou, children's craft activities, games, skits, face painting, music and more!
The music schedule for Eco-Fest 2009 is below:
- 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Children planting in the garden. Please met at the benches in the Children's Garden. Children's Garden Committee will lead.
- 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Children's Craft Activities: make a pet caterpillar, make your own binoculars, make a fossil!
- 9:30 am - 10:30 am Mel Moreau present Children's Songs
- 10:00 am - 10:30 am Story time in the Story Corner. A children's book will be read highlighting nature and how we live in our environment. Please meet at the Children's Garden. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- 10 am - all day Boat Trips on Adams Bayou
- 11:00 am - 11:30 am Orangefield First Graders sing Earth Day songs
