Wild Wednesday: Sensory Walk

Learn about the natural world around us with Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center’s Wild Wednesdays program, presented each week by Shangri La’s summer scholars.

On Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at 9 a.m., Shangri La will present Sensory Walk, a silent walk that encourages visitors to use each of their senses to experience the world around them. At the end of the walk, visitors will discuss their experience and how the silence impacted it.

Reservations are required. To reserve a spot in this class, call 409.670.0803. The activity is free to members and included in the general admission fee for non-members. Participants must be at least ten years of age. Comfortable shoes and water are encouraged. Guests should meet at the admissions office at 9 a.m.
