*OUTPOST TOUR: An Outpost Tour is subject to a maximum capacity of 25 individuals. Outpost Tours are first come, first serve.
On weekdays (Tuesdays through Fridays), an Outpost Tour will depart at 10:30 a.m. and again at 3:00 p.m. for members and for visitors who are not part of a Group Tour or School Tour.
On Saturdays and Sundays, an Outpost Tour will depart every hour, subject to demand, starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays and 1:00 p.m. on Sundays, with the final departure no later than one hour prior to the scheduled close of the Gardens for that day.
Subject to availability, additional departure times may be added as warranted by demand.
Because of the limited availability and capacity, members and visitors who would like to participate in an Outpost Tour (and who are not part of a reserved Group Tour or School Tour), must reserve a seat at the admissions office upon entry to Shangri La.
NOTE: Entry to Shangri La ends one hour prior to the scheduled closing time each day.
Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center is a program of the Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation, a non-profit organization.
