Meditation Pavilion

A petrified log Lutcher Stark collected is transformed into a fountain in the meditation pavilion.  The top of the wood was cut with a diamond-tooth saw and polished to create a smooth edge, and an opening at its center allows water to run up and over the wood.  Surrounded by a wall of water, this is a place to relax and leave the world behind. 

There is a lovely quote on the wall by Rachel Carson, "Drink in the beauty and wonder at the meaning of what you see."  You are invited to drink the beauty of Shangri La.
